Account Type: If the device/client has a built in Gmail setting, use that account type, otherwise select IMAP.

Step 2: Use the following settings to configure your e-mail client

Click the gear icon in the upper-right and select Gmail settings at the top of any Gmail page.

The following settings can be used if your mobild device or computer does not have a Google account option when adding a new mail account.

Your email will then start to sync to Outlook.

Make sure that profile is selected and select OK. The gmail account profile will be listed as “your email address – G Suite”.

Outlook will start to open and you will be prompted to select a profile to use.

A notification that the setup was complete will appear.

A setup window will open for G Suite Sync.

Click Allow for Microsoft Outlook to access the account.

Select your account to use with G Suite Sync.

Enter your NetID and network password and click Login.

A browser window will open with a University sign page.

Enter your gmail address and click Continue. Once finished, you will be prompted to sign in.

The sync tool will take a moment to download and install on the computer.Open the googleappssyncsetup.exe file that downloads.
